This is Genius: $25,000 bounty for infamous Cubs fan autograph
I just saw this on Yahoo and have to give credit where credit is due. Whether or not you are a Cub fan you probably know the story of the infamous Steve Bartman that leaned out over the field, interfered with a ball, and allegedly cost the Cubs the chance to go to the World Series.
A site called SportsBuy.com has offered Bartman $25,000 to show up and sign a single photograph. Yahoo, Chicago Sun Times, Orlando Sentinel, and many others are now on the story. Genius.
I’m trying to think of how to rip this idea off. How about $50,000 for Jimmy Hoffa? $100k for DB Cooper?
