Stairway to Gilligan’s Island
Back before sampling, way back when Gilligan’s Island was a daily habit, this little ditty came out. It got some play on KROQ here in LA and possibly others and then word was that Zepplin’s publisher killed the track. Thank God the Internet brought it back.

It got more than local play. I remember hearing this when I was a kid. It came and went like a flash on our local progressive station, WKQQ ( guess they made the QQ rotation nationwide? ). Kinda strikes me as odd that Zep’s lawyers were so hard on this version considering what all they let Dread Zeppelin get away with.
