In an otherwise slow news week, the world of sports dug deep to come up with a story perfect for Independent Sources. “We really need to thank the NFL”, stated Insider, a spokesperson for Independent Sources. This is not the first time that professional football has bailed Independent Sources out of a traffic nosedive. In late 2005, the level of unique visitors had stagnated when all of a sudden two Carolina Cheerleaders were caught in a rather comprehensive position in a very public restroom.

This time its the Denver Broncos and it promises to be good:

Early this month, unsealed search warrants and affidavits revealed details of an 18-month investigation of what law-enforcement authorities described as a high-end prostitution business in Denver. Although no one has been arrested in the investigation, the owner of a business called Denver Sugar/Denver Players had her cash, financial records and computers seized.

The prostitute in question stated that she and her friends usually charged around $300 for an hour of sex and that “Nuggets basketball players … Arizona Diamondbacks … Rockies baseball players and some Denver Broncos were customers.”

Thank you guys, we appreciate it. $300 an hour is pretty cheap when you think of all of the traffic it will bring us.
