There are so many things disturbing about this story. In short, a father of a 13-year old boy had too much to drink and decided that he shouldn’t drive. So he turned his truck keys over to his 13-year old son, who was also drunk. Worse, the 13-year old didn’t want to drive because he had told his dad that he was too drunk too. This must have been a touching father-son moment. However dad won out on this argument and the son drove off in the family truck filled with open containers of beer and liquor. Being drunk, not to mention being just 13, the kid drove into the mud where he got stuck until police arrive.

The father, 41, is facing several misdemeanor counts, including child endangerment, allowing an intoxicated person to drive his vehicle and allowing an unlicensed minor to drive, police said.
