Holiday Santas told to avoid “Ho, Ho, Ho” else risk offending women
Politically Correct and Stupid:
An Australian recruitment firm that staffs retail outlets with Santas, has reportedly instructed its Santas to avoid saying “Ho, Ho, Ho” and instead say “Ha, Ha, Ha” else risk offending women. The story broke when one of the disgruntled Santas called the Daily Telegraph in Sydney, leading to a collective “Give me a break.” Fearing a backlash, the recruitment firm noted that that they had not “banned” the phrase but instead were leaving it up to each individual Santa.
No word on whether or not it’s still okay for the Santas to do “stocking inspections” or to ask them if they’d like a really present from Santa this year.
