I guess, ya gotta figger, the ages of these college football players and the time spent in locker rooms increases their margin for maybe being "gay-curious" az opposed to making it a "lifestyle"...and don't fergit, that most college players prob'ly still git drunk after games. Lotta times "all bets are off" when drinkin' and comraderie hook-up....I dunno, now....jus' sayin'...However..your article duz make me understand a l'il bit better why ND sucks...

Simply because I was a nerd in h.s. and hated the jocks, I'll twist a popular line: 1 out of 3 football players had sex with other men, and the other 2 are lying about it.

The Kinsey Report shows that about 37% of American males have had at least one homosexual experience in their lifetime so in actuality these football players are below average. That would be a more logical explanation for the poor performance of ND, no nads.

<blockquote><i>The reports also state that nearly 46% of the male subjects had "reacted" sexually to persons of both sexes in the course of their adult lives, and 37% had at least one homosexual experience.[1] 11.6% of white males (ages 20-35) were given a rating of 3 (about equal heterosexual and homosexual experience/response) throughout their adult lives.[2] The study also reported that 10% of American males surveyed were "more or less exclusively homosexual for at least three years between the ages of 16 and 55" (in the 5 to 6 range).[3]

7% of single females (ages 20-35) and 4% of previously married females (ages 20-35) were given a rating of 3 (about equal heterosexual and homosexual experience/response) on the 8-point Kinsey Heterosexual-Homosexual Rating Scale for this period of their lives.[4] 2 to 6% of females, aged 20-35, were more or less exclusively homosexual in experience/response,[5] and 1 to 3% of unmarried females aged 20-35 were exclusively homosexual in experience/response.[6]

That's a horrid sample. To put it in perspective of how bad it is, most high school teams have more than 47 players. My high school has about 500 students, with more than 47 players. Multiply that by the number of high schools in the US and it gets real obvious real fast what the base should be. So, to draw a summary from 47 leaves a standard error of about 100%. Simple terms, mathematically, this is useless.

It might still explain Notre Dame tho. For a more symmetrical comparison tho, I'd check and see how well San Francisco's teams play. :)

And, based on my research of watching Seinfeld, specifically the Nazi gay guys, I'm not sure that sexual orientation really would affect how well they smash mouth.

But, if it is truly accurate research ( which it's not ), that might explain all the butt patting, weird dancing, and excessive jewelry. And, it would certainly my link up there on my website thingy.

I agree though it might in fact be statistically significant. I still think it may be a researcher with an agenda that sought out data to support something he wanted to be true.
