Prostitute Wendy Cook, 37, was arrested for bringing her 5-year old daughter and 8 month old son to work with her.

“While the two kids were in the car, through our investigation we learned that she performed oral sex on at least two johns, again while her five year old was awake in the back seat and while her eight week old was in the back seat. Also over the course of the evening she smoked crack cocaine on ten to twelve occasions over the course of the night, again, with her children in the back seat”, said Lt. Kilcullen. Police say Cook even did drugs while breastfeeding, snorting cocaine off the infant’s stomach.

Between the demands of “Johns” that need to be pleased and that psychotic daze that comes from too much crack, Cook’s options for bonding with her kids were somewhat limited. At least Cook didn’t leave them in day care (assuming she could find a day care facility that was open all night) or with a nanny.

This is a lesson not just for crack whores but also drug dealers, bank robbers, rapists, terrorists, etc., that no matter how much you want to spend time with your kids, there are some professions that you’ll just have to wait until they get a little older before you start to teach them first hand about your vocation.
