Yeah I think along with Xanadu, Out of Africa, and a couple golan-globus Ninja movies this is one of the few times I have felt sympathy for film / tv critics.

I guess you didn't see the press release for BJ & THE BEAR:MILLENIUM. Set in a post apocolyptic world where BJ is a washed-out cyber-warrior who now travels the globally-warmed desert that was once the US heartland in a specially modified Kenworth bigrig, and his half-android super-intelligent escapee from a US government lab chimpanzee, code-named BEAR. Think "Mad Max meets Smoky & the Bandit." Will be visually designed with that shaky-camera, quick cut, never-stop-moving camera work that everybody loves and nobody finds annoying. The underscore will be hip-hop with explicit lyrics for the cable network simulcast.
