Are juries made up of dumb people or do otherwise smart people just become dumb when on juries?
Spector jury says it’s at an impasse.
Just because the accused has a nasty habit of sticking guns in the mouths of women and threatening to pull the trigger…
Just because a woman dies this exact way in his house with his gun…
Just because the accused runs out and essentially admits killing someone to a limo driver…
These are no reasons to find someone guilty of murder especially if the murder victim isn’t around to defend herself from being portrayed as a suicidal nutcase who decided to go to Phil Spector’s house and blow her brains out. Of all of the places she decides to kill herself, she picks the one place housed by a certifiably crazy lunatic who likes to stick guns in women’s mouths. Coincidence? Evidently to your typical county employee, DMV worker or postal employee impaneled on a murder trial that is exactly what it is.
Maybe that’s also what happened to Nicole Simpson, she killed herself as did the Menendez parents who took shotguns to their own heads.
OJ, the Menendez Brothers (first trial) and now this. It appears impossible to get 12 people who are willing to put their lives on hold for an indefinite amount of time that can maintain the level of intelligence necessary to see past people defense attorneys obfuscations. My question remains, were the jurors that stupid before they became sequestered or does something happen along the way during these trials that turns people into idiots?
