Neither Chad nor anyone else at IS is anti-police. His point was the reason SOME people have issues with police is in incidents of abuse of power and he noted a story that if it happened to any of us we would have been pretty pissed off to say the least. Chad wasn't writing about brutality he was writing about an extremely poorly conceived and executed "sting." While my post was 99% about what a loser Rep Rob Briley is, 1% was about the crap that cops have to put up with. IMHO Briley's mouthing off in the police car justified a response but perhaps justice was served in the holding cell or drunk tank by other prisoners who weren't so reserved. Unfortunately the bad officers cause enough problems that the good ones can't always overcome the impression they leave.
