Dumbass: Black widow spiders make bad pets
A German man kept an odd collection of lizards and insects as his pets was fatally bitten by his pet black widow spider, Bettina, and then eaten by his collection of several snakes, a gecko lizard called Helmut and several thousand termites all of which had gorged on his body.
A police spokesman said:
“Giant webs draped him, spiders were all over him. They were coming out of his nose and his mouth. Larger pieces of flesh torn off by the lizards were scooped up and taken back to the webs of tarantulas and other bird-eating spiders.”
This is one of those black and white issues. Black widows are bad pets period. Yes they are quiet but you get very little in way of affection and they are happy to kill you on a moment’s notice. Also it is a paralyzing, painful death.

How bizarre. I just had a run-in with a black widow and came in to email the pics to Mrs. Moon. This black widow however is swimming with the fishes at this time.

Bizaare indeed and taking care of this pet is quite dangerous, knowing that it could paralyze someone! You’d better get other friendly and harmless pets, guys!
