Why you should always wear a seat belt…
…because this might happen to you.
And yes it is quite real. It happened in 2002 as 27 year-old Damien Harrington was trying to get away from police after attempting to pass a bad check. If you are wondering if he survived then you really didn’t watch the video.

Once he hit those southbound lanes, Damien bounced higher than his check. Still, since when is an overdraft situation worthy of a high speed chase? What next – a rejected credit card and the cops start tasering?

Wearing a seatbelt is a serious issue. I am a girl going into 9th grade. About a year ago my beloved friend, only 14, was in a terrible accident in which she was ejected from the car and suffered major and fatal head injuries. If she had been wearing a seat belt she would still be with us today. It is 5 seconds of our life to protect our life. I just do not understand how people have so little respect for their own life that they do not take the time to secure it.
