Mirthala is every married woman nightmare, not because of her looks but because she does not respect the sanitity of marriage. She knew he was married, (I guess that does not mean anything to woman like her) I don’t know about other women but she will be judged for cheating with the Mayor and that’s it. I wonder what she is going to do when the (Mayor) cheats on her! Remember what goes around comes around.

Cheating is a pet peave of mine, I dislike women that cheat with married men knowingly and vice versa. I know so many needy women, some whom even have a man that does not give them the attention they so desire so they are willing to get it any where they can. I see it a lot at the workplace and I call it third party harassment, they flirt, touchy, feelly kind thing right in front of me and it just makes me sick to see it knowing one party is married and the other has a live in boyfriend. They call it attraction and flirting, I call it cheating and that is probably what happen with the Mayor, he wanted a younger model after 20 years of marriage, it was just so easy for him to jump out of the frying pan when it got hot. Go figure Mr. Mayor and Mirthala Saliinas who wants what she wants when she wants it…write a news report on “How to score a married man”. It can be a good read…

I generally agree. I feel for Corina in all of this. Not to mention the kids. Senior Administrative Official and I were talking and we were amazed that given Villaraigosa’s political aspirations that he would have been so careless. Didn’t he think it would come out at some point? As Senior Admin said, it was “Clintonesque.”

I find it funny that Villaraigosa said that this is not a reflection on his job as mayor. He says that the important thing is that he keeps his promises to the people fo LA. That’s funny because he can’t even keep his promises to his wife.

My ex is mexican-american and I am caucasian. She cheated on me and I am a good looking guy. I have discovered that in the mexican culture that this is common. i know it’s common in all cultures, but i do believe it’s a bit more excessive in hispanic culture. even though it’s done discreetly often with a kind of prudishness about talking about sex openly because of religious beliefs. Miss Salinas is a classic mexican-american puta. she’s proven this by her dating of other men involved in politics. She’s attracted to the married mayors political power. The forbiddeness is a turn-on, I suppose.

I do feel for the mayors wife.
I am a Mexican-American (and super hot- I am told) and my ex husband is caucasian.
He cheated on me with a fat asian chick.
I think that it does not matter what race you are.
Cheaters and home-wreckers are rampant and they are sad, sad people who cannot be trusted. If they do it once they will do it again.
And yes, Mr. Mayor, ones behaviour does reflect you as the type of person you are, whether you are in a position of power or not.
By the way, gross you are sloppy seconds. . . or thirds. . . or fourths. YUK!

They deserve each other, since they both have a lot in common. They should marry and live happily ever after. Chances are that won’t happen however, because they are into cheating, lying, sleeping around and that just doesn’t make for a marriage made in heaven. Therefore, they will continue with the self-delusion that they are people of great influence, power and great ‘role models’ to Latinos everywhere. Corina Raigosa is the one to be admired. She not only, has kept her dignity intact throughout this entire circus act, but as an educator, a mother, a cancer survivor and a supportive wife to her husband, she has become the true ‘role model’ and heroine in this insanity. I wish her and her children all the best!

If Mr. Villaraigosa was unhappy in his marriage, he should have talked it over with his wife and then found a way to separate amicably - with the right order of things, the suffering would be minimal- but they conducted themselves in a less than respectable way, causing suffering and humiliation to his very own children, and the woman who gave birth to them…
BAD KARMA!!! coming at you…coming your way. And when he is no longer Mayor, I wonder if the high climber will still “love” him….
Maybe now Corina can find herself a good man, an honorable man, who will love her the way she deserves to be loved.

Folks often refer to what race one is to say how such n’ such race is prone to cheat, etc. But the reality is we all have a sin nature within us that’s attracted to what’s wrong. The problem is not skin or race, but sin, which is the inner attraction to what’s not right in God’s eyes. Men and women have cheated since the beginning, but the Mayor just got caught. He, being a public figure, is subject to greater scrutiny than others. Others don’t care as long as he’s doing his job to help make the City more functional. These deny the moral and deep spiritual problems in the Mayor specifically and in many people in general. That is the refusal to see the truth of God and know that we all are sinners and therefore need a Savior. Jesus is that Savior, but most deny Him.

What a shame this is for the family that’s now been torn apart. I’m willing to bet this will not affect the Mayor’s future political aspirations. In the future, it will probably be defended as “private matter, private lives” similar to Bill Clinton’s explanation and echoed by all those who wished to keep him in office at the time. The Clintons set the precedence for this. Lack of integrity is a bad quality for public officials in my opinion. Hopefully integrity and moral character will one day be valued and desired in this country once again.

Mirtha might be “beautiful” but she has a rotten heart! She has no morals.
And to the guy that was cheated on, race doesn’t matter when it comes to cheating! That’s a very ignorant comment! (What is Clinton?!)
My husband and I have been happily married for 16 years and no cheating. We talk about stuff like that…
All I can add about Villaraigosa is that he is no longer one of my role models!!!I feel so disappointed.

I think cheating it is not connected to RACE but it is connected to culture. As far as cheating, in general it is common in Latin American MEN to cheat, but for WOMEN it is rare. Women in general are very picky about their sexual partners and many are virgins when they get married. Since most Latinos are catholics, many man look for that when they get married.
In the other hand in the US women are in general less picky when choosing partners(dating can be living with a man these days), and are by FAR more into cheating, particularly WHITE women. I am not saying that we don’t have easy chiks in Latin America, but far less that you see in the US. So for #6 S, get your facts straight, and ask anybody around the planet, who has the reputation for having more pvutas, and they will let you know (US!). Now this chick I bet you she has the US values more than the Latino values, so she probably has been tons of guys in California. Plus isn’t LA the capital of pornography anyways.
