Criminal Says He Can’t Be Deported Becuase He’s a Criminal; The best way to gain residency is join a violent street gang

You’ve all heard the story of the boy who kills his parents and then asks for leniency since he’s an orphan. Well it’s happening for real. A lifelong criminal and gang member from Los Angeles is arguing against being deported to his native Guatemala because they don’t like gang members in Guatemala and his life would be in danger there. Yes, for the sole reason that he committed many crimes in the United States he should be allowed to remain in the United States.

While common sense would dictate the absurdity of his claim, a U.S. immigration judge found him credible enough for a trial.

This sends a great message to all those who have come into the U.S. from let’s say unconventional methods. If you want to remain in the country, join a gang, get some gang tattoos and commit a few major crimes.

The U.S. grants political asylum to those who can show a well-founded fear of persecution based on race, religion, nationality, political opinion or membership in a particular social group. So why shouldn’t the definition of “social group” include the Crips?

The gang member in question states that “the tattoos on his face, neck and arms and his California gang dress and mannerisms were enough for [Guatemalan] police to target him.” It appears beyond his capabilities to change his dress and mannerisms not to mention having the gang tattoos on his face removed.

If immigration foes want to tackle a loophole in the immigration process here it is.
