Child prodigy wins Monster Jam Mullet Contest

As Odd Culture says…

You see, some families become successful in the business world, the stock market, real estate, doctors, lawyers, scientists. Other families win mullet competitions. Of course this came out of Jacksonville. Where else would it come from?

From the Camden County Tribune and Georgian:

Kingsland has a celebrity of sorts living within its royal walls; it is home to a young and shy boy whose hair has been deemed “the best mullet in Jacksonville.”

… in front of thousands of people in the pit of Jacksonville’s Alltel stadium at the Monster Jam truck show.

…he took home not only the six-foot trophy, which, by the way, is topped with a little man who has a mullet, but he also won bragging rights for one year.

His mother said she has wanted to enter him into the contest for the past two years, but they were unable to make it the Jam. He plans to enter the contest in the future, but he may have some tough competition next year … his dad may enter too.

Seems like a nice kid but this is not the kind of thing that is going to help you get into Harvard or pretty much anything other than the Asst. Manager Training Program at the local Weenie King franchise.

Artist’s rendition of what the little kid will look like in 15 years if he doesn’t get some new parents.
