Countdown for Goldman Sachs’ “Charlie” to be Fired
“Charlie” is one cocky employee. He works for Goldman Sachs and spends approximately four hours a day on Facebook. When he was notified by his IS department that he was violating the firm’s rules about using a social network (let alone for 50% of his workday) he responded by putting it up on his Facebook page. While this is good for Facebook, it’s not so good for Goldman Sachs. Fortunately, for those of us who enjoy a good thriller, Techcrunch picked up the story and countdown is on for Goldman Sachs nail the little weasel.
Of course there always is the possibility that Techcrunch is getting punked but that’d be a good story in itself.
Update: This might be his Facebook page but you’ll have to be a member (and possibly his circle) to see it.
Update: From OxfordGossip.com “A very small amount of research tells me his name is Charlie Barrow.”
Also from that same source, here are the folks on the story…
