Russian Identity Thieves Really Suck at Writing
Is it really that hard for Russian identity theft criminals to find someone with decent English grammar skills? I’m amazed that criminals go to the effort to SPAM millions of people, painstakingly recreate letters from banks and so forth and then blow it with a poorly written letter. Couldn’t they go to Yahoo Answers and get someone to proof read it? Exhibit A., look at what I just received from “Bank of America” :
Dear Customer,
Our Technical Service Department has recently updated our online banking services for the year 2007 , and due to this upgrade we sincerely call your attention to follow the below link and Re-Action your online account details. Failure to Re-Action your account now, Your access to the Bank Of America Online Banking and server will be Restricted finally if Actions is not taking Now.
“…if Actions is not taking. Now.” Are they serious? Come on guys, get it together. If you are going to make it as international criminals you can’t come off like 4th graders in your correspondence with potential victims.
