This is so freakin’ sick that I’m having trouble holding it together man. The story comes via Moon and in short strokes this mother sold her daughter to a molester 200 times over a year period from the time the little girl was 9 until she was 11. She actually held her daughter down while the molester was on top of her. She was finally arrested and sentenced (to only) 17 1/2 years. However she got caught up in the mandatory federal sentencing B.S. and the judge was given another crack at sentencing her. Factoring in the fact that she had subsequently taken parenting lessons in prison and was a crackhead, he cut her sentence almost in half, down to 10 years. It’s hard to imagine what this judge was thinking. I don’t know about the possibility of parole but I don’t see how someone who did such heinous actions can get such a light sentence.

The mother also gets the benefit of anonymity so that her daughter’s identity is protected. I agree the daughter’s well-being is the most important thing but I’d really like the stain of shame to follow the mother for life.

Instead of dumping on Trump, why isn’t Rosie O’Donnell railing on this?
