I worked the Venice Beach detail a few years ago and, yes, we enjoy enforcing the nudity laws more than chasing gangsters through Oakwood. In this photo, the bikini girls look like Gold's Gym contestants, which would place them a few miles north in the City of Santa Monica. The photographer's patch resembles SMPD's patch too.
