Reparations Watch - Gaddafi says the US owes big time
And it’s not reparations for slavery this time. It’s for freakin Coca-Cola
LIBYA: COCA COLA IS AFRICAN, GADDAFI SAYS
Sirte, 11 Sept. (AKI) - Coca Cola is an African beverage, Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi was reported as saying on Monday. Speaking during celebrations for the 7th anniversary of the African Union in Sirte, his hometown, Gaddafi claimed that the US-drink was African as “its essences come from our plants and so multinationals must pay compensation to us.” The Libyan leader once claimed that British poet and playwright William Shakespeare was actually an Arab immigrant to Britain called Sheikh Zubeir.
Just when you think the world can’t possibly get any stupider, there is Muammar to prove you wrong.
(and all you nitpickers out there I know I said US and Gaddafi said multinationals but we all know Haliburton is the US so it’s the same thing)
