In an excerpt from her autobiography published in the September, 2006, issues of Harper’s, Kola Boof, a Sudanese poet and member of the Sudanese People’s Liberation Army, claims she was kept as a sex slave by Osama bin Laden in Morocco in 1998. Kola tells us that Osama describes bin Laden as:

* Is a big fan of Miami Vice.
* Answers to the nickname “Somi”
* Liked her to dance naked to B52s’ Rock Lobster, while he shouted at her “Dance like a Caucasoid girl!”
* Respects Van Halen
* Is very good at deep sea fishing
* Liked hunting birds and wild boar
* Gushed about his love for Whitney Houston (and wants Bobby Brown murdered)

According to Boof, upon learning of her statements, bin Laden said:

“If I had the time to waste…I would come and slit your throat myself.”

If all of this sounds like a stunt to promote her self-described “womanist” career, Peter Bergen, a biographer of bin Laden, has called Boof “delusional”saying that bin Laden has never been to Morocco.

The bin Laden angle is certainly not her only attempt to drum up personal publicity. She also likes to appear topless, but with a decidedly feminist angle. Says Boof:
