I don't think it is a replacement for any of the issues you mentioned but it can be an adjunct. Plus people who call themselves things like Genital Integrity Advocates just piss me off. I looked into having it done in my 20s but the doctor told me that I would lose too much body mass if I did so I didn't. Seriously, I think this is a strawman that would not help the Aids problen at all. Education, safe sex and pharmaceutical research are the only things that are going to help.
