Surprise! Palestinian Group Blames Gays in Israeli Army for Stalemate
Bringing new meaning to absurd thinking, a leader of the Palestine based Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade has claimed that Israel failed to defeat Hezbollah because its army is “full of gay soldiers”.
Hamas’ leader in Gaza, Dr. Mahmoud Zahar has gone further, condemning the rights that all gays have in Israel saying:
“Are these the laws for which the Palestinian street
is waiting? For us to give rights to homosexuals
and to lesbians, a minority of perverts and
the mentally and morally sick?”
(ed. note: This guy’s a “Dr.”?)
While on the topic of tolerance in the Mideast we learn:
In Saudi Arabia, a gay wedding last weekend saw
over 400 guests celebrating, until police broke up the party and detained 20 guests
for “emulating women“.
Does tolerance even exist in this part of the world?
One (silly) thought would be to put together and dispatch a gay-only unit of marines to hunt Bin Laden and with any luck they’d catch the guy–accomplishing two objectives at once. Yes I know how we have to respect other cultures but I don’t think we ever have to respect intolerance. Just my two cents.
