As for Jacqueline, she sounds to me like someone who is simply desperate for validation. For someone so "independently minded," she sure feels the need to constantly compare herself to others, doesn't she? Someone who is a real individual doesn't care how they measure up to others. As for the responses she gets to her personal ads, I'm a size 14, which makes me fat according to most standards, and I manage to get 50-100 responses to my personal ads whenever I post them. And I post honest (and recent) photos of myself along with them. I don't mislead people about who I am.
