The Blogosphere is going insane
In the past week we have had:
1. Alleged sock puppetry by prominent liberal blogger Glenn Greenwald. (Details Here, Here, and Here)
2. Blogwars involving Ace of Ace of Spades over the alleged sock puppetry with Paul at Wizbang and Dale and McQ at Q and O. Paul has announced he is leaving blogging.
3. More alleged sock puppetry, harrassing phone calls, and threats involving Jason Leopold and Larry C. Johnson (America’s favorite counter-terror commentator and VIPS member) and
4. Deb Frisch continues her battle with Jeff Goldstein, now e-mailing Jeff and posting inappropriate comments on other sites.
5. The proprieter of Ankle Biting Pundits admits posting positive things about John McCain, while attempting to land a job with Senator McCain.
Those are all bad enough. Sock puppetry while not a high crime or misdemeanor is dishonest. I don’t have anything against anonymous posting / psuedononymous posting except when someone is using it to buttress their own arguments or for harrassement. The stuff involving Frisch is just unhinged and probably illegal. The same with the Leopold / Johnson incidents if true. But the worse thing that happened this week is:
No new Melissa Theuriau, Erica Chevalir or Tamara Hoover pics.
What is the world coming too?
