“No hands” policy strictly enforced; dancer who collected severed body parts wisely skips court date.
Okay this is a pretty bizarre story so I’ll do my best to get the facts straight. Linda Kay, 31, is a goth and favors dark costumes and heavy eyeliner and has numerous piercings and tattoos. He is also a nude stripper and works at the Hott 22 nude bar under the stage name “Zilla.” She was arrested for illegally possessing human remains and in particular a human hand that she called “Freddy.”
Sean McDonough, is her roommate. For his part he is accused of holding guns and knives to the head and stomach of a third roommate (25-year old Andrea Leipow) for more than 5 hours one night while threatening to “gut” her. (Talk about the roomate from hell). McDonough was arrested after someone called police when he was threatening to “kill himself with a hammer.” (Ed. Note. Is that even possible?)
When officers arrived on the scene to the blunt-object suicide report they found Freddy, a severed human hand preserved in a jar of formaldehyde in her bedroom. They also found six human skulls. The hand was reportedly a tip from one of her dancing clients. The skulls were said to be from mail order catalogs, a claim the police are investigating. The police report also states Freddy the hand was “severed roughly, not surgically, with bone fragments in the jar” making its origination even more disturbing.
If you liked this woman’s dancing would you “give her a hand”?
Upholding the defense attorney tradition of saying stupid things that are easily contradicted by observable facts, her lawyer (Donald DeGioia) said the following after she fled the court date:
“She looks forward to her day in court.”
So much so that she’s gone into hiding.
Not to be outdone for denial, having learned that her nude dancing daughter was arrested for having a severed hand of unknown origin in her bedroom (not to mention the exploits of her hammer-wielding, crazy-ass, death threat-making roommate), here’s what her mother had to say about it all:
“She has a flair for the dramatic. I have never tried to stop my children from doing whatever they want. As long as they are happy, aren’t hurting anyone, and it’s keeping them out of the poor house.”
Out of the poor house, yes, out of jail, no.

I don’t know where to start, they are just so many things wrong with this story starting with the fact that goth strippers are just nasty, and I say that from experience.
I have heard of people who are heavy into the S&M scene actually amputating or having amputated various body parts, but my guess is the guy chewed it off in order to escape.
I just feel sorry for the third roommate, I lived in a barracks room at one time with a guy who was a wiccan and used to sit around naked in some weird prayer circle dreaming up animal sacrifices and another who was just your garden variety criminal. Between the two of them I was never sure when I was gong to have my throat slit in my sleep.

1) while some goths are into bdsm, most people into bdsm are NOT GOTH.
the terms are not totally interchangable
2) wicca was made up in the early 30s by a protohippie named gardner for money and ass. he took a few old myths and turned it into an “ancient religion” wicca is earth based and peace loving. they would never hurt animals or other. wiccans are generally rebellious teens looking to piss off mommy or hippie scum.
your ex roommate sounds like he was involved in other more sinister parts of the occult.
3) lol she named herself after zilla. thats a character from a terrible poppy z brite book. zilla was a a gay vampire. lolz.

while you make some valid points I was only addressing this particular person, although I will say that most goths I have known have been less than pleasing to look at.
I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Please read this fascinating news story about a goth stripper and her collection of human remains. She is currently running from the cops. Well then. I had lunch with my dad today and it turns out that while I was on my random road trip last week, he was on one of his own. He went somewhere near Hilton Head and the following conversation occurred.

K, maybe a bit off topic, but to go from the, ‘Wiccans are animal sacrificers’ ill-informed cliche to the ‘Wiccans are teenagers looking to piss off Mommy’ ill-informed cliche is too much for me.
As a 41 year old Wiccan, I can tell you that maybe 20% of the Wiccans I have met are under 25, and of those, pretty much all of them have ‘cool parents’, i.e. Intelligent parents who, like mine, would be pissed off if their children were Catholics, but certainly not if they were Wiccans.
Before describing a class of people, I wish the speaker would actually get to know them first. But that would require effort, and Americans would much rather say something that fits an inflammatory popular cliche than actually become informed on a subject.
Nor was it invented (though somewhat popularized, yes) in the 30s, but let’s end the rant here.

I don’t care how you worship or if you worship at all but before characterizing my views on the subject I wish that you would understand them. But that would require effort, something that I have noticed people who are just looking for a reason to be offended generally are willing to expend.

So please continue congratulating yourself on how open minded you are and salivating over the description of the sacred feminine in “The Da Vinci Code” and quit looking for reasons to be offended.
