“Smoke on the Water” (not too surprising for a war zone!)

LAT: Deep Purple vows to perform
Besides there being a war going on around them, geriatric rockers Deep Purple are playing in a part of the world that western music isn’t all that well liked. I can’t imagine that Hezbollah have too many Richie Blackmore fans. Whether a bomb under the stage or perhaps just trigger happy militias spooked by Deep Purple’s pyrotechnics, there is just too many things that can go wrong for this to be a good idea.
