Why do the words “Freak Gym Mishap” and “David Hasselhoff” seem to go together?
Yahoo news is reporting David Hasselhoff was injured in a “freak gym mishap” yesterday. According to his publicist David Hasselhoff was shaving at the gym when he hit a chandelier with his head causing glass to shower his right arm and severing the tendons. Amazingly this is not suprising and seems strangely appropriate payback for 11 years of repetitive motion injuries inflicted on teenage boys by Baywatch and its biggest star Pamela Anderson.

She always reminds me of the flight insurance agent in the Arthur Haley’s novel AIRPORT. In the movie they didn’t do this, but in the book the girl was described as being a willing participant in a plastic surgery experiment to see how big her boobs were capable of being.
