These guys did dumb things because they are DUMB. Whether they are dumb or not is immaterial though because it doesn't take a genius to blow up a building or blow yourself up in the middle of a crowd. I think we have more to worry about from the dumb terrorist than from the smart, planner/organized types. They are more abundant than smart ones and can function like saturation bombing. Couple with this development, the NYT has exposed another program to track terrorists. Risen and Lichtbaum (sp) are headed into some serious trouble if they keep it up. I don't know their true motivation but one way or another the will get stopped. This crap can't be allowed to continue.
