Dems take low road in mass email but claim it’s the high road
Dems send negative attack spam decrying Repub’s negative attacks
From the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee:
If there’s one thing dirtier and uglier than Karl Rove and the Republican propaganda machine, it’s Karl Rove and the Republican propaganda machine backed into a corner.
They know that if they lose the House, the truth will come out about just who has been calling the shots in Washington — and I can tell you it’s not the voters who elected them. The spigot for their pals in the oil industry and every other special interest will be clamped down. How far do you think they’ll go to keep that from happening?
Today, we’re asking you to help the good folks at the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) make sure they have the resources to stop these guys from winning another election by playing dirty, really dirty.
One chance to put them back in their corner and knock’em down is quickly approaching on June 30th — when Democrats and Republicans have to report fundraising totals and the media will judge chances for success. This is where Republicans will try to flex their biceps, and scare us with their special-interest laden money. But we refuse to let them get the better of us.
