Because nothing says I’m Hip, I’m Here, I’m Now, like a laptop bag made of human skin
Or fake human skin even. Techiediva has the details:
“The bags dedicated to electronic machines are waterproof and proctective jackets and become autonomous organisms. They anticipate the fusion between the digital and the organic.”

Last time I checked my laptop needed a biological interface unit to turn it on, so maybe it really isn’t an autonomous organism. The entire description sounds like a bunch of post-modern claptrap to me or as Moe Syzlak would put it, “Weird for the sake of being weird”.

I think it’s a splendid idea. The kind of bag you can eat, in a pinch, with some fava beans and a nice chianti.
