The only good news for USC is that this latest bad press isn’t connected with its football team or the result of greedy actions by the dysfunctional parents of one of their star players.

No, this story can be summed up in one picture posted on Flickr which we found during our morning reading of LA Observed (not the place we typically find NSFW photographs).

Kevin was reporting KNBC’s hyping up a non-story about a USC professor (Dr. Diana York Blaine) who bares her breasts on Flickr [NSFW!]. Normally we would be all over a story like this and we couldn’t click fast enough to see what all of the fuss was about.

However upon seeing said photo and then reading some of the descriptions of the photograph (”national geographic breasts” turns to be pretty darn accurate) our interest quickly sagged.

To USC who hasn’t had the best exposure anyway this past 30 days these most-unflattering images of a faculty member can’t be the image they want in the minds of their alumni during their annual fundraisers. Given the choice USC would probably prefer another football sex scandal over a topless photograph of a motherly (non-MILF) looking feminist PhD. who reports to pray to the Moon Goddess every morning when she isn’t running around topless at Burning Man [Warning: disturbing image].

There is more to this story but we are definitely done with it and are already sufficiently grossed out (thank you very much KR).
