David Chappelle: “White People Own Everything”
David Chappelle explaining why he abruptly fled to South Africa after a reported near-mental breakdown as well as rumors of pressure from African American leaders who felt his show was demeaning to blacks says that it was racism that lead to his sudden flight.
U.S. Rep. Cynthia McKinney concurred with Mr. Chappelle and noted that even minorities without $50 million contracts and their own shows can be subjected to racism. McKinney noted how she has been repressed by the modern day slavery of the United States Congress.
