The heartwarming story of the family who were lost and snowbound in their motorhome for seventeen days has a surprise ending: the parents have been arrested on drug charges. Elbert and Becky Higgenbotham had promised to cooperate with Arizona police after they were found with meth and a shotgun — but then they disappeared. Navajo Couhty, AZ officials recognized them from news reports of their rescue in Southern Oregon last week.
