The Los Angeles Times revealed that entertainment industry figures have been subject to a secret listening program that extends back many years.

Operated clandestinely by powerful organizations, the monitoring has targeted the entertainment industy. Those ensnared include Democratic party donors such as actress Sharon Stone.

While proof of direct links to terrorist organizations remains elusive, unsuspecting victims of the wiretapping may have been involved in bomb production. Independent Sources has learned that agents were unable to use information from the Stone wiretap in time to prevent her participation in Basic Instinct 2.

Showing remarkably little concern for the Constitution, supporters of the covert operation claim it is a “timesaver.” The LAT piece cited an attorney who claimed the massive scheme was “probably legal.”

Barbara Boxer was not available to take a position opposite to the Administration.
