SF Bay Area Indymedia ‘reports’ on its “Police Brutality & Prisons” page that:

After nearly six weeks of incarceration Eric McDavid is still not receiving vegan food. Nearly two weeks ago a jail nutritionist recommended that he be given two vegan protein shakes a day. In order for Eric to get these shakes it has to be approved by the doctor and the doctor has done nothing.

Reports that McDavid was being plied with Quarter Pounders until he talked have not been verified.

McDavid was arrested in January along with two other alleged Earth Liberation Front activists and charged with conspiring to bomb targets such as a Forest Service facility, power stations, and cell phone towers.

His co-conspirator Zachary Jenson asks that people send letters, and pictures of fairies and crows.

We were kidding about the Quarter Pounders. But not the fairies.
