Islamic Kites Kill Seven in Pakistan
Killer Islamic kites have murdered seven innocent bystanders in Pakistan’s Punjab Province buy cutting their throats. Some of the kites’ victims were young children. These murderous Islamic kites appear to have no moral compass and pick their victims at random. They typically strike during the day, especially when it is windy.
Rana Ejaz Ahmad Khan, the Punjab chief minister’s adviser on law and human rights, said the actions of these dangerous kites had forced the government to carry out raids on shops selling banned strings and make arrests.
Militant kite fliers use metallic strings or coat them with glass shards to more easily kill an opponent’s kite–and sometimes the opponent as well or an innocent bystander or two.
Kite flying is a popular pastime all year round in Pakistan.
In addition to throat slashings, the kites can kill by causing innocent innocent victims to fall from tall buildings or to walk into the paths of cars while gazing at the beautiful, yet deadly, skyward kites.
Many Pakistanis were outraged that their beloved kites were being banned by a government they feel is too accommodating to the West.
