This seaside hamlet is more commericial than the Central coast but boasts beautiful views of the same Pacific Ocean that the rest of the US would enjoy this time of year. Redondo Beach is used to handling large sporting events, such as Super Bowl Sunday 10K, while Santa Barbara does not want the unwashed masses in their town. Ask the Junior Administration Official if he would have preferred watching the race in Santa Barbara.
