Yesterday Independent Sources had almost 6,000 visitors. 5,000 of them came looking for Steve Erhardt “the living Ken doll” who is best known to our readers as the man who willingly received painful butt-implants.

Unfortunately our Google AdSense numbers didn’t scale with the increased activity. Not sure what ads would best be served up to people looking for human freak shows better than the “Butt Implant Singles!” or “Buy Painful Butt Implants on eBay” or whatever other ads were being served up at the time.

Even if we didn’t’ generate the advertising dollars that I would have hoped I guess the increased activity helps us solidify as the go-to place for all things Steve Erhardt/Butt-Implants, and I should not discount the long-term value of that brand. Perhaps we should be selling shirts like “I went to Independent Sources and all I got were these painful butt-implants!”. Just a thought.
