Michael Eisner’s Legacy: Three Down …

Michael Eisner pissed off Steve Jobs. Now, Disney is buying Pixar. Eisner used Disney’s Strategic Planning group to quash ideas he didn’t like. Now, they’re disbanded. And he once named a professional hockey team after a kid’s movie …

Oops, that’s gone too.

The Los Angeles Times revealed today that the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim — a moniker Eisner imposed on the then-new team in 1993 — will be renamed the Anaheim Ducks next year. This per Henry Samueli, who bought the team from Disney in 2005.

To come: Disney’s rehiring of Michael Ovitz, divestiture of ABC (nee Fox) Family Channel, and the conversion of Euro Disney into KatzenbergLand.
