Memo to L.A.Times Online Staff: Also, Try Wearing Fedoras
With L.A. Observed reporting that the Los Angeles Times’ online operation is looking for “a different kind of online news operation,” we’ve got a suggestion: hire Matt Drudge. A look at two years’ data tracked by Alexa shows that Drudge gets 2.5x - 3x the traffic of LATimes.com:

Think of the savings in bandwidth costs alone! No more photos or videos streaming off to readers; just pure ASCII headlines (and in the always attractive Courier font, no less).
