When a professor is that their their political leanings, many smart students know that it is best to go with the flow. Haloscan and the Wizbang standalone trackback pinger both reject the URL. I believe it is a permalink URL and not a trackback URL, as Haloscan tells me it is not a valid trackback url and the wizbang tool opens a window showing the article.
