The Shield: 5th Season Starts Tonight
Tivo alert: The Shield, the best show on TV, starts its new season.
If you haven’t watched this show up to this point then TIVO the first 3 episodes and watch them consecutively. By the end of the 3rd one you’ll have a good idea of the characters, their interpersonal relationships and the story lines. The first several seasons are also available on DVD via Netflix so you can work your way back (highly recommended).
BTW, TV’s other brilliant show, Monk, begins its new season this week as well.

Ohhh I am so mad. The Shield while good is in no way superior to Battlestar Galactica. Especially since it doesn’t have scantily clad Cylon sex-bots. Ok maybe that does make it better. Now I am not mad just confused.
