Showing that Holly Ashcraft is not alone in the “I’d-rather-kill-my-baby that go thru the few easy steps to let it live with someone else” category (i.e., “Safe Surrender”), a San Bernardino 18-year old girl stabbed her newborn son shortly after giving birth to him in a shower. Attempted murder suspect Consuelo Camacho concealed her pregnancy from family and friends up through the birth (how is this possible?).

Note to would-be commenters, we are not interested in hearing what a wonderful friend, student, church attending young lady that Consuelo is. As far as we are concerned this is irrelevant to the fact that she went Psycho (literally) on a newborn by repeatedly stabbing him with a pair of scissors. Unless you have some inside knowledge to the facts to this case then save it for the sentencing. Since people like Consuelo and Holly are so devoid of the moral values that would keep most people from committing infanticide perhaps it will take good stiff jail sentences to get the word out that unless you like the thought of wearing an orange jumpsuit for the next 15 years it is probably worth looking into something other than post birth murder.

The infant is still fighting for his life at a local hospital Saturday, sheriff’s officials said.

Let’s look forward to the day where there are no longer these stories to report.
