50 Cent’s Bat “Mitzvahoolza”

In what looks like a story from the Onion, African American rapper 50 Cent recently performed at the Bat Mitzvah of little Elizabeth Brooks.
Said Fiddy during his performance (no doubt while pointing at his crotch and making suggestive hip thrusts):
“Go shorty, it’s your Bat Miztvah, we gonna party like it’s your bat mitzvah.”
The NY Daily News had this to say…
The party cost an estimated $10 million, including the price of corporate jets to ferry the performers to and from. Also on the bill were The Eagles’ Don Henley and Joe Walsh performing with Fleetwood Mac’s Stevie Nicks; DJ AM (Nicole Richie’s fiance); rap diva Ciara and, sadly perhaps (except that he received an estimated $250,000 for the job), Kenny G blowing on his soprano sax as more than 300 guests strolled and chatted into their pre-dinner cocktails.
I’m sure the most common comment from the adults at the party was “Who’s this 50 Cent?” While the most common comment from the kids at the bat mitzvah was “Who’s this Kenny G.?”
Final note: I wonder if 50 Cent referenced “Get Rich or Die Tryin” which would be a foreign concept for people at $10 million little girl’s party. “What does he mean ‘get rich’?,” they would be asking. “Are there un-rich people in the world? How unusual.”
