Roger Jacobs is part writer, part blood hound. He picks subjects that are compelling and topical–and sometimes dangerous. He’s gotten death threats which he brushes off as cost of doing business or a side effect of living on the edge. His most popular regular feature is “8 Million Ways to Die” which covers unusual […]

“We have to exterminate white people off the face of the planet to solve this problem …,” he said. “So we just have to just set up our own system and stop playing and get very serious and not be diverted from coming up with a solution to the problem, and the problem on the […]

Despite a ban on exporting high technology, some countries are able to acquire large numbers of servers and desktop machines from U.S. donors under the guise of it being humanitarian aid. Below is a Nigerian server farm. All it needs to be workable is some nice donor to drop off a slightly used 10,000 seat […]

The future of the world is apparently going to be altered by ultra-lefty protests next Wednesday, November 2 … at least, that’s what their website says. An organization called “The World Can’t Wait” expects millions of people to leave school and work to “drive out the Bush regime.”
Why? First, there’s the usual: they’re not shy […]

NABLUS, West Bank — A Palestinian woman was found Saturday with a hand grenade under her baby during a West Bank raid, an Israeli army officer said.
I hope that there is no debate on this one, babies should not be used to hide grenades. I wonder how she tried to talk her way out […]

This was the original arrest last July:
Victor Edward Willis, the original policeman in the 1970s music group the Village People, was arrested by real police who allegedly found a gun and drugs in the former star’s convertible, authorities said.
Police found traces of cocaine and other drug paraphernalia when they searched his home at the Franciscan […]

Scott Dyleski’s transformation from 2003 to 2005:
This is a partial re-post. For some reason (probably user error) the previous and far more complete posting on Scott Dyleski was over-ridden by a nearly blank posting. I’m going from memory.
First off, the third picture is really from this year’s yearbook even though it looks like a someone […]

As if we needed one more thing to undermine our confidence in the United Nations, it appears that they don’t even know how to use MS Word. From the Times of London:
The United Nations withheld some of the most damaging allegations against Syria in its report on the murder of Rafik Hariri, the former Lebanese […]

A new site, homepricerecords.com, lets you see recent home sales and prices using Google Maps.
Since it uses Google Maps, you can pan, zoom, and look at satellite views. The only problem I found was an apparent lack of data from the last six months or so — but I may not have tried hard enough.

8:43 pm the Independent Sources offices just experienced an earthquake!
It was a 3.0 (relatively small) and relatively close.
Time to go “liberate” some flat panel television sets.
By the way, where’s my FEMA debit card? I need a lap dance to calm down.

“Bride and Prejudice” is rated PG-13 (Parents strongly cautioned). The film contains some chaste romancing, some naked and ripped male torsos and a Harvey Weinstein cameo.
