New Aussie Policies Aimed at Stopping Discrimination against Wife Beaters of Color
Evidently no one bothered asking Muslim women in Australia what they think of the new police policy but presumably someone can beat it into them. They also need to be told that “equal protection under the law” no longer applies to them now that a far-too-politically-correct “diversity” handbook instructs officers to treat Muslims, Aboriginal, Hindus and Buddhists who are caught beating their old ladies differently than white wife beaters.
What is amazing about this policy is that it’s not about potential cultural issues like people firing up a Hookah in a “no smoking” section. This policy is about how they deal with people who are beating the crap out of their wives and the importance that is placed by Australian authorities to insure that “wife beaters of color” are not disenfranchised by a society that may not understand the role of wife beating in their cultures.
When you think of it the expression of “there’s no excuse for domestic abuse” is really racially insensitive as who are we to make such a statement and force our values on other cultures?
