NABLUS, West Bank — A Palestinian woman was found Saturday with a hand grenade under her baby during a West Bank raid, an Israeli army officer said.

I hope that there is no debate on this one, babies should not be used to hide grenades. I wonder how she tried to talk her way out of this one? Here are Independent Sources guesses:

“It’s the baby’s favorite toy and I didn’t have the heart to take it away.”
“The baby has a fever and the grenade is cooling her down.”
“That’s my breast you pervert.”
“You mean your children don’t play with grenades? What’s the matter with you?”
“Don’t worry, she knows not to pull the pin when mommy’s around.”
“Kids find the darnedest things.”

And our favorite:

“Relax, it has a child proof pull-pin.”

I always thought there was something universal about the bond between mothers and babies. Guess not.
