You guys know your stuff. I have quite a few friends with similar knowledge and they impress me when we are watching movies and they point out errors from the way that people are holding the guns to the sounds they are making when fired. The SKS is kind of a homely pig of a gun, Eastbloc-trailer Euro-trash and all that. Even comes with a pigsticker on the end. Not much good after 100 yards. It was put in afterward. What you see is the entire cartridge; bullet and shell.
