Bill Cosby Speaks Clearly But Is Black Community Too Def to Hear?

From the LAT:

At a May 2004 NAACP ceremony commemorating the anniversary of the 1954 Brown vs. Board of Education desegregation decision, [Entertainer Bill] Cosby said, “These people marched and were hit in the face with rocks to get an education and now we have these knuckleheads running around…. I can’t even talk the way these people talk: ‘Why you ain’t,’ ‘Where you is’ … and I blamed the kid until I heard the mother talk. And then I heard the father talk…. Everybody knows it’s important to speak English except these knuckleheads. You can’t be a doctor with that kind of crap coming out of your mouth.”

Word.

For those apologists who would prefer to perpetuate yet another generation that is ill-equipped for anything but the most menial jobs because they can’t even communicate, there is always this to fall back on.

    In an interesting corollary to “economic justice” based on Government handouts to the poor, Publis Pundit posted a report and a link to demographic evidence that shows in some socialist-based Latin American countries, the very poorest regions just happen to be the ones where government spending is the highest and the hand of government is the most visible. In other words, we’ve been focusing for too long on the wrong issue, Wealth Creation, when what the evidence shows is Poverty Creation! :-)
